Packing for Europe

Are you unsure on what you have to pack for your next Europe trip? Worry not, because we’ll save you through this list.

  1. Money Belt

Probably one of the first things that you should never forget when traveling. Bringing a money belt secures your important belongings like money, passport, cellphones, and other necessities. You can wear it inside your clothing, and bring it anywhere, this also prevents being pickpocketed.

  1. Clothing

Europe’s weather is inconsistent so you should always be prepared on whatever weather it will be. Bringing scarfs, sweaters, and long-sleeved shirts is ideal so that when the rain comes you won’t come unprepared. Don’t forget to bring one or two fancy dresses or suits just in case you planned on dining at a fancy restaurant, or visiting a fancy party.

  1. Portable Power Banks

When you are traveling make sure that your phone is well-fed so that you can take countless of pictures. These power banks are essential because when you need help, like when you get lost you’ll be able to use your phone for aid.

  1. First-aid Kit

One of the things you should never forget is bringing your very own first-aid kit. It must be equipped with everything you’ll need when you are faced with an emergency. Here are some of the things that you might have to put in your kit:

  • Bandages
  • Gauze
  • Pain relievers
  • Antihistamine tablets or creams
  • Antiseptic Wipes
  • Loperamide Tablets
  • Tweezers
  • Small Scissors
  • Surgical Tapes
  • Insect repellant; and
  • Other pre-med medications
  1. Toiletries

Even when you’re traveling you should bring with you a hygiene kit to maintain your cleanliness all the time. This should always be with you whenever, wherever you go. A tip when you pack lotions, moisturizers, shampoos and other creams, make sure that you have small-refill bottles where you can put them just so you won’t be traveling with big, heavy bottles. Here is a list of what you should be inside your hygiene kit:

  • Moisturizer
  • Lotion
  • Sunblock
  • Dry shampoo
  • Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Face towel
  • Deodorant
  • Cleansing wipes
  • Lip balm or Chap stick
  • Hairbrush
  • Sanitary pads for girls
  • Basic makeup kit for girls as well;
  • And don’t ever forget your toothbrush
  1. Travel Documents

Do not forget on updating your passport. You have to make sure that it’s still valid and up to date. You also have to make sure if the country you will be visiting requires visa. Pay a visit to your destination country’s embassy before traveling.

  1. Perfect Luggage

One of the most ideal luggages to carry on your European trip is a convertible wheeled backpack. Using a backpack, or a wheeled-suitcase alone has its own pros and cons. When you use a backpack, it may be comfortable to use, you are free to move, and you’ll have a hands-free travel, however the things you can pack are limited because of the small space it has to offer. On the other hand, using a wheeled-suitcase alone has its own benefits and drawbacks. Using a wheeled-suitcase gives you lots of spaces for your things and you can pack more, however the wheels might easily break because of the cobblestone streets in Europe and it is a lot heavier than a backpack.

If you’ve followed these steps then you are good to go! Enjoy your much awaited Euro-trip!
